How to request account deletion
To request deletion of your GetWhistle account and associated data, email us at support@getwhistle.ai with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- Your organisation or company name (if applicable)
We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation once your account has been deleted.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, phone number)
- Authentication credentials and active sessions
- Call history and voicemail recordings
- Messages and conversation history
- Contact lists and preferences
- AI usage history and transcripts
What is retained
Certain data may be retained for legal, compliance, or financial reasons:
- Billing records and invoices — retained for 7 years as required by law
- Audit logs — retained for 1 year for security and compliance purposes
- Any data required to resolve outstanding disputes or legal obligations
Delete only your data (without closing your account)
If you wish to delete specific data (such as call recordings or messages) without closing your account entirely, email support@getwhistle.ai specifying which data you want removed.
